"Black, Brown, & Yellow" is a blog that I have created that discusses topics that you may or may not find "blog worthy". The title "Black, Brown, & Yellow" is a reflection of the way that the African-American society classifies African-American women. However, the topics being discussed will not only focus on society or politics but will vary from fashion, books, reality shows, to music. Enjoy my thoughts...

Be Content
Some brag about it, while others struggle to get it. More than most overuse it, while others don't have it to use.
It’s no secret that money makes the word go ‘round here and, there’s no denying that money will make or break your lifestyle. I love high fashion, hundred dollar shoes, mink coats and diamonds like any other girl, but if I cant afford it I don’t buy it.
However, many people seem to be confused or, they simply do not know the true significance of money. I have found that some people no longer choose to live within their means. Instead, they’d rather put themselves in a world of debt just to feel like they’re working for something other than paying bills. I know the feeling all too well, but spending beyond your paycheck is never the answer.
This is dedicated to the people who use their paychecks to reflect a life that they have no business trying to live. Avoiding credit card debt, overdue bills and overdrafts are things that need to be instilled in children BEFORE they hit adolescence. One credit card can turn into five before you know it. So if it feels like you’re working just to pay your bills, then you’re probably working just to pay your bills.
